  Our research mainly focus on inorganic solid state chemistry, related to structure chemistry and functional materials. We have synthesized numerous new compounds, including polar intermetallics, metal phsphonates and inorganic metal oxides. 

  Currently, our main research interests are inorganic nonlinear optical (NLO) crystal. Our goal is to develop new NLO crystal for commercial applications and understand the structure-property relationships.
